The UCLA Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies, situated in the International Institute, provides academic discourse about Israel addressing the past and the present. With Israel in the news on an ongoing basis, nuanced and informative discussion rests on civil discourse. Through our programs, webinars, and podcasts we invite you to engage in the exploration of historical and cultural experiences of Israel and its people. Students can engage with a wealth of offerings through courses, programs, and student-focused discussions. Students and faculty can benefit from the Center's funding of research on a topics related to the study of modern Israel.
